Desks

After beginning as a wrought-iron craftsman, Jean Prouvé discovered electrical welding and manufacturing techniques whose application to sheet steel enabled the creation of hollow components. Sheet steel is a feature of most of his furnishings. In the course of the 1930s Prouvé established his own highly personal agenda: mass production of machine-made furniture.
