XXIII BIENNALE DES ANTIQUAIRES

Chandigarh, Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret
booth conception India Mahdavi
Paris, Sept. 15 - 24, 2006

For its third participation in the Biennale des Antiquaires, the Galerie Patrick Seguin is presenting works that LE CORBUSIER and PIERRE JEANNERET created for the paramount urban-planning and architectural project for the city of Chandigarh in India.
These pieces (which include tables, desks, reading tables, chairs, conference chairs, armchairs, benches, daybeds, stools…) were conceived for the large Public Service buildings of the city; the pieces thus correspond coherently to the practical and emblematic functions of each individual building.

India Mahdavi has been charged with the design and realization of the gallery’s booth.
