In 2015, GALERIE PATRICK SEGUIN commissioned the architect practice Rogers Stirk Harbour+Partners to modify a 6×6 demountable house by Jean Prouvé. Retaining the original layout, the adaptation integrates additional rooms (bathroom and kitchen), as well as technical trolleys providing hot water and solar power.
Taking into account social and environmental considerations, this demonstration made in the spirit of Jean Prouvé could serve as a model for other adaptations of these demountable houses.
